Bruce Lee And His Movies

Bruce Lee is perhaps the mainly powerful martial artist in history because he basically launches Chinese martial arts to the world. He motivated millions to practice martial arts within a short span of time.

Bruce Lee “Little Dragon” was born in San Francisco in the Chinese Year of the Dragon November 27, 1940. While he was a teen actor in Hong Kong, he would run around the set with a begging mantis on his shoulder, therefore his curiosity in the begging mantis fist type of kung fu. After practicing hard choy lay fut, Bruce Lee starts to studying wing chun under Ip Man in 1954.

To keep away from group fights in Hong Kong he get his U.S. citizenship, and in 1959  he moved back to the United States and started teaching wing chun at his newly established Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute. Knowing the flaws of traditional kung fu exercise, Bruce Lee shaped his own martial way, jeet kune do (way of the seizing fist). He assumed one’s actions and mind should flow similar to water, which is why his school slogan was “using no way as way; having no limitation as limitation.”
