Self Defense Techniques Against Knife Attacks



There are so many self defense techniques against knife attacks, but the most efficient way is to avoiding engaging into a fight with somebody having a knife.

We'll be realistic here. If you believe that a knife attack under controlled conditions in the following exercises will be similar, you are in a fatal blow.

I'm sorry to tell you this: you are not aboveboard.

Even under controlled conditions (with Knives made of wood, reflective, soothing, training, etc) you can hurt if you real knives are not even in a situation of crisis.

Personally I would never oppose an aggressive man with a knife or a gun. If I have no other alternative, i.e., whatever.

The following self to acquire only certain techniques, skills that you can use later to instinctively when needed.

But they are only the basic methods.

To have a real chance, you need to further attack the self-defense knife to prepare technically advanced in a safe environment. And they are not necessarily of karate, but for combat as Kali, Ninjutsu (Ninjukai), JDK and other systems.

The first situation
Guests Berserk and tries to attack with a knife. He tried to beat you from the position of the flag.



How to defend: As he push downward, you jump off at a 45° angle, land on your left foot and kick with your right foot at the assailant's knee. It will kick off its stride length.
The consequences of you with your combination of karate, or better yet, run and find somewhere safe.









 







The second situation

An extremist strive to knife you in the stomach. What can you do?

How to protect: go down forward to the ground diagon­ally and pitch a roundhouse kick to the nutty groin with your right foot.
This makes double with pain.
With the same leg you push at your rival knee joint, throw him to the ground and disarm him.








The third situation
This self defense procedure is for circumstances where your opponent sprawl a back handed knife attack from diagonally his body.


How to protect: the step with your right foot and a slash on his forearm with your right hand.
Disarm the attacker and strike at any nerve system.



The fourth situation
What will be your strategy if your opponent holds you up with a knife?

In particular, what do you do if he will surprise you and keeps a weapon against your abdomen.

How to protect: make the movement of the right hand to divert attention. Preferably you should intervene outside the range, but if you are stuck down with your left hand.






Access can be made to your opponent's wrist. But in a real situation, you risk your opponent through the knife to it pull and cut off the finger, wrist or hand.

Turn your body away from the knife and demolish him in the Adam's apple.
