Krav Maga

Krav Maga is a combination of brutal martial arts on the body, which was founded by Imi (1910-1998). It is inspired by the street He wrestling, boxing and wrestling skills, which he used to defend the Jewish quarter of the city of Bratislava (capital of today's Slovakia) against fascist groups in the mid to late 1930 's.

After escaping from the Nazis occupied Czechoslovakia, IMI Imi in 1942, Israel arrived and immediately began teaching martial arts in ground combat units in Israel. After the proclamation of the independence of Israel in 1948, Imi became the Chief Instructor of physical training for the Israel Defense Forces and its combative style of Krav Maga, which means "Contact Combat" in Hebrew.

The following principles define Krav Maga: adapting itself to fight to defend and attack at the same time, a fight is never complete with a train from positions of weakness, vulnerable zones in, let you dictate, reality, your answer, instinctive movements, training to build their tactics and trying to be as safe as possible as you can get faster.

The basic philosophy of Krav Maga is the neutralization of aggression and threats, the principles that the special forces were consistent with the IDF, where Krav Maga is a standard training.
